About Un~Raveling the Relationship Riddle…

The inspiration for Un~Raveling the Relationship Riddle began in 2017 when I was with a group of couples who were experiencing struggle in their relationships. As I listened and observed, I had this epiphany that there were others who were experiencing similar misunderstandings, pain and confusion in their relationships that I had experienced in mine! Whoa….stop the bus! This was a huge eye-opener for me! I had always thought I was the only one experiencing these struggles. Now I was finding out that similar challenges were being experienced by others and not just limited to me.

It was in that moment that I heard a voice say, “You know how to help with this now, you need to start teaching.” At the risk of sounding unstable, I will share with you that “the voice” and I held a great debate over the next few weeks, but truth is truth and divine inspiration can be quite insistent, so I submitted. I began sharing and teaching those things I have been privileged to learn over many past years as I endeavored to understand the what’s, why’s and how come’s about about my own relationships while struggling with my own brokenness, hurt, and confusion.

So back to the couples event…as I later contemplated what I had observed, I recognize there were 3 main themes:

Theme One – All of us; whether men or women, young or old, single or married, desire the same thing. To be understood, and to experience love, connection, respect, and appreciation.

Theme Two – Neither of us; whether men or women, young or old, single or married, have much understanding of the complementary divine design differences of men and women. We have very little sense of what the other’s brains or bodies are doing and we expect the other to think, act, and relate to things in the same way we do.

Theme Three – At the root of many of the issues we (men and women) both experience is often fear…fear of not being enough, fear of not being loved, fear of not being worthy, etc.

As you can probably imagine, and may have even experienced, this can lead to misunderstandings, struggle, and unhappiness in relationships. I speak of this from my own personal experience and marriage struggles.

I come to you with the desire to share those things I have been privileged to learn….mostly the hard way! I reach out to those of you who desire wholeness, who seek a place of peace, love and joy, and who are ready to take ownership for yourselves and for the relationships you desire to create.

A Little About Me…

My name is Julie Crane. Over the past several years I have been on a spiritual journey dedicated to seeking healing and peace. In my past I experienced many difficult tribulations and reached a place where I felt lost, broken and without hope. Through vulnerability, accountability and the act of handing it all to my Savior, Jesus Christ, I have found the peace and healing that I have sought.

I continue on my journey to wholeness now recognizing the tribulations were blessings for the tempering and refining of my soul.  That my experiences were for my learning and growth. They do not define me or reflect my eternal value and worth.

But if you are still wondering about my formal qualifications, here are a few of them….
